This is a beautiful book both in terms of one’s relationship to one’s self and one’s pain, as well as in relation to providing care and service to others. There are many touching passages in this book.

I really like this book. It’s incredibly moving, beautifully written, and inspiring. It’s hard to pick a quote to share so perhaps I will choose simply this: “I heard someone say once, “just assume the answer to every question is compassion” (p 62).
